Hook & Hop
As part of my second year coursework I had to come up with and brand a craft beer company based round the brief of a craft beer that had a nostalgic tip of the hat as it was influenced by the beers the creators father's used to drink.
The name comes from the anecdote in the projects brief about how the creators often mistook the character on the beer that inspired them to start a craft beer business (McEwan's Export) for the fictional character Captain Hook. I combined a stylised version of his hook with a hop plant to create the icon in the logo.
